The FastFind MAX-G is a hand-held Personal Location Beacon from McMurdo that features a 406MHz transmitter, and a 5-year battery storage life and a built-in GPS. In the event of an emergency, an alert signal is transmitted to Cospas-Sarsat satellites and forwarded to a rescue co-ordination centre within typically 3 minutes.

The FastFind MAX-G comes complete with lanyard and designer carry case to enable users to keep the PLB safely attached at all times. In addition there is an optional multi-purpose fixing device for attaching the PLB to clothing or a lifejacket.
